controlling diet

For me the hardest part of my training regimen is controlling my diet. Im young, single and challenged in the kitchen, so I end up stopping for fast food more than I should. I also rely too much on protein shakes. Anyone have any good tips on keeping track of their diet? Any online sites that list calories, fat, protein, and carbs for popular foods?

I hear ya bro...I find it hard to control my calories, etc and the desire to change doesn't always override.....diet is tough, very tough, especially when faced with temptations, etc....

SC -- any ideas on how to change the mindset? Or ways to get over it?

Watching cals and what not proves to be no problem for me, it's the constant consumption of water that is hard.

Do a search on google to find calorie counting sites. There are a bunch out there. You don't need to know anything in the kitchen to have a healthy diet. The only thing I cook is some chicken & broccoli to store away in containers for one meal out of my day. The rest is non-cooking oriented.
