I'm doing SF 5x5, and tomorrow should be my 7th or 8th week (not really counting). I felt that i have been overreaching this last week, though there is still a little room to keep adding weight. Should i lay back or continue with the overreaching until i totally stall out then lay back?
 
If it was me and i felt like there was room to add more weight without hurting myself, then i would carry on until week 12.
 
When you start overreaching, you'll start regressing a little, so I'd just carry on whilst you haven't stalled. You could try smaller increases. Even small increases are increases. Keep it going for as long as you can.

Once you've stalled for a week or two, dropping back a few weeks and ramping up again will serve as a bit of a deload. Good luck!
 
Thanks both of you! I'll certainly go on as long as i can then, i just didn't want anything to do with overtraining and am not sure how long overreaching will last.
 
Don't worry, overtraining is where you're basically running yourself into the ground and it takes quite a concerted effort to get to that stage. If the weights are still going up, you haven't even got to overreaching yet, even though it might feel like you're slowing down. It does get tough near the end.
