is he wearing foot pads in that one pick? I do not think that would be allowed in the very high level SM contests.

If the SM is too short to place the atlas stone on the very highest podium then that will simply not be his best event. I wonder why that was allowed.

I knew that he had planned on wearing them. The didn't say the he couldn't use them...till he walked out to do the stones when they called his name. It was too late for them to say no then. He is also a lightweight amat...not a pro. We are all weekend warriors in the amat class.
