Hi there,
My name is Hassan and I am an 18 year old male who is 5ft 11" and currently weighs around 119 pounds.
I have had 9 operations in my life, including a hole in my heart so I have had a very bad diet, and not been a very good eater at all.

Now I have got to the stage where I am sick of the weight I am at, and want to do something about it before these summer holidays come up and I go away on holiday etc.

I am actually that embarassed about my weight and size, that even if it is boiling hot outside, I will not wear a t shirt because I feel my arms and general body are just too skinny.

At the moment, I go to the gym 5 times a week for between 1hr - 1hr 30 per workout, and also take ProLab N-Large protein shakes.

The main point of this thread is that I am now at my last resort which is a cycle of either Test E or Sust in order to help me bulk up, but I really don't want to have to do it because of the effects it will cause me at such a young age, coupled with my heart problems.

Is there any way, that with diet alone, I can reach my aim of 150 pounds by around August, bearing in mind I am a hard gainer, bad eater and have a fast metabolism?

I don't want to sound like I am not making any effort, I just feel that steroids may be the only way but I don't want them to be.

I have tried to be as honest as I can, so any help would be really appreciated :)

Hi and welcome.

You are too young for steroids, you need to sort out your diet and training first.

Even if you were older, the steroids don't work without the consistent and solid diet and training.

I am sure the lads will fill you in on this as well.

Post up your diet in the diet section, your training in the training section, and we can help you make the adjustments so you can fulfill your goals. For example, an hour and a half in the gym is too long. You are probably over-training and not eating enough, and as you have mentioned, not eating the right foods.

You may also want to get one of Stuart McRobert's books, he is the publisher of hardgainer magazine, and quite a few great training books, Brawn may be perfect for you.

like tat said. your age alone would be the reason not to take the plunge yet. waiting until you are 21+ will prevent several possible problems. and again like tat said without everything else being in place you would waste it all anyway. stick around and learn as much as you can about the stuff while you work on diet, training, and recovery. perfect those 3 and by the time you are ready you will be able to get the absolute most out of every cycle you run and untimately reach a much farther state of development.
