They absolutely do but it is a result of overtime. My brother is a CO in new york state and will be right around $100K this year. Base salary there for a newer guy is around $65K.

depends on the state. NY an CA salaries are going to be way higher than a salary in OK or TX. also CT is the wealthiest state so makes sense they would be paid good $$$.. cost of living is also super high so 80K won't get you very far

in my state they don't get paid anything close to 80K. they get paid $11 an hour starting with benefits. you are lucky to pull in 30K a year so you damn right they are going to try and get some added $$$ hustling

i'm sure even the female CO's offer sexual favors for cash too
