I'm glad Mcguire, Palmero, and Schilling bashed on that piece of shit Conseco. Who does he think he is narc'n everybody out like that? He has no business telling the world everyone else's business; especially when he was using and promoting it to other players. He looked like a total hypocrite, and a major piece of shit, because that's what he is. Players like Mcguire and Palmero are stand up bro's - they don't tell the world their teammates' and friends' business, no matter what the cost. It's rats like Conseco, who profit off of making others suffer, that ruin it for everyone else.

He may not even be telling the truth. Most analysts think he's lying about Palmero, and Palmero strongly denies it. Even if it is the truth, he's still a rat. And it's not like he was turning in a rapist or a murderer; he told on people for shit he was doing too (HYPOCRITE!) In fact, he was pushing it on some players. What a friend - talk em into taking roids, and then stab them in the back and rat em out.

Having read his book, I think canseco's beef is mainly with the League, but its unfortunate he has to use ex-teammates and such to make his point. He certainly makes MLB look bad though.

It's unfair for ANY of us not in the know to make a statement like that. Maybe McGwire and fellow teammates dicked him over and this is his payback. We don't know? In any event, the steroids issue was never going to go away with all the speculation. Canseco brought an end to the speculation. Now, when MLB enforces tougher policies (which I'm sure they'll do, with all the pressure they are getting), the whole issue will finally blow over and we can juice in peace. I can't comment on him personally, cause I don't know him personally - as far as I know, he had legitimate reasons for calling people out. But again, I give him props for putting this shit out in the open so people can finally move on and get over it

The fact of the matter is that steroids are ILLEGAL! And for him to expose anyone who uses them is wrong (hence the term rat). Mcguire and everyone else has to keep quiet about it. Do you think they want to be prosecuted? Why don't you run down to your local sheriff's office and tell them you take controlled substances and see what they say? He's telling on people which can only hurt them and get them in trouble....that's my point.
