Before you got it, I didn't even realize it was a chronic condition. I thought it was just like an infection that you could take drugs for and get rid of. I knew it was caused by tick bites, but that was about it.

Do you fail to realize that many behaviors have also been linked to cancer? That is what reasearch is for -- determining causes, creating treatments, creating cures.

PS -- I'm not single anymore, and when I was it was by choice because the dating pool is full of leftovers much like you. I passed the bar the first time and attended undergrad and law school on academic scholarships. I've been gainfully employed as an attorney for 8 years and only lost 1 case in that time.
