Computer question

Tonight I finally got my home computer up and working again, and decided to make one of "my documents" sub folders a "hidden" folder. The problem is now its too hidden, I can't even find it. I have searched but its no where to be found. How can I unhide it? Or atleast figure out how to access it again...

You got WinXP? Click search, then check "hidden files" then once ya find it click on it, open properties, click it so it's not hidden.

To view hidden files, on the Tools menu in any folder window, click Folder Options. On the View tab, under Advanced settings, select Show hidden files and folders.

I have windows 98. But I can't get the Tools option to come up in "my documents". I can get it on this Elite page, but it does not give me the options you guys have listed. It has file, edit, view, go, favorites, and help options only... This is why I stick to the anabolic board...

Open up "My computer".. try it from there...

the one in IE isnt the same.. thats internet options... I don't understand why you arent getting it in a regular windows explorer...

This is one of those files that if I have to get rid of it I want to be able to do it (and in a hurry). I need to be able to access it, but it also needs to be hidden from the possible prying eyes of any others in my household.

Should should be able to do it through windows explorer. Tools>folder options> show all hidden files.


That's the only way for it to work.
