Computer people! Pop-ups that charge?

Hey,

I keep CONSTANTLY getting this pop up to play games at a peak rate of £1.50/minute and my housemates that use the computer all the time I think must've clicked 'yes' to play the games a view time because it keeps getting charged to my phone bill.

How the hell do I get rid of this? I'm thinking it must be downloaded somewhere onto my computer maybe? Can't find anything though.

Also, how'd i get rid of the porn pop-ups which appear even when my computer isn't even being used and it's just left on yahoo or something? (yes there is a hell of a lot of porn viewed on this pc!)

Is there a place where these pop-ups are stored?

ctrl alt delete will tell u what kind of programs are running.
You majorly sound like u need to go buy a popup blocker, ive never heard if it, that would freaking suck too

Why dont' you download ad-aware or spybot and then run them, they will take off the programs that cause popups...also download the google toolbar, it has a built in pop up blocker feature...you can download all these things at download.com

Sounds like you have an auto dialer running. First I'd run adware and make sure that's clean. Then check for any programs installed that you didn't know about. Lastly I'd contact the phone company and the police and tell them the situation.
