computer help please.

I cant hear sound from any web browser. I've been trying to watch videos on hulu and I cant hear the sound. I tried using my regular speakers, headphones, and even switching to bluetooth headphones.

Currently using XP pro.

btw if using IE try this:

1.Open Control Panel.
2.Double Click to open Sounds and Audio Devices.
3.Click Sounds tab.
4.Scroll down to Windows Explorer, which is present under the Programs events.
5.Select Complete Navigation and Start Navigation.
Click OK/Apply.

how about seeing if the volume is up in the task bar or in the mixer if you have one?

You have to be logged off of EF for it to work.

I've tried IE, FF, Chrome... Also uninstalled flash and activex and reinstalled them both

go into the control panel click on the volume icon and make sure they are all turned up and not muted. Also can u hear sound from a cd or mp3 file?

yeah when I watch movies with showtime, media player, or listen to music in winamp or other programs the sound works fine.

I downloaded the community codec pak and stuff too... no go.
