D doubles1 New member Sep 12, 2007 #1 hey... so heres my question... I put in a brand new 80 gb IDE hard drive into my Intel PC. When I boot up it says verifying DMI Pool data DISK BOOT FAILURE INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER Not sure where to go or what to do.... any ideas????

NickyE3 New member Sep 12, 2007 #2 u have no operating system installed is my guess. if that hard drive is the only in there and has nothing on it then you need to install Windows or Linux on it
