On internet explorer, when i try to load web applications like online e-mail and updating sports news, the page loads quickly and then dissapears leaving a blank white screen with 'Done' in the status bar.

Whats going on?? It worked a few days ago and i havn't changed any of the settigs.

What's online email? You mean like hotmail or something. And it's a white page with nothing on it at all?

Go to Help ->About, and look for the section that says "Update Versions:". If it doesn't have "SP1" listed, go download it.

i am working with a pc that has windows 98 and i re installed windows 98 due to virus etc

so i re install IT AND THE screen isnt clear as it was

pics are fuzzy etc

how can i fix this ?

98? Lord get 2000 or XP. XP runs just fine on a Pentium II at 400mhz and 2000 runs fine a Pentium I at 266. Are desktop Icons fuzzy or just pics? You might just need to change the display settings to a higher resolution. If that's doesn't fix it I'd reinstall your video card drivers first and see how that goes.

ya icons on my desk top and also my pics are shity..used to be really really clear


so go to control panel

then click on display

on settings folder

says 256 color and 800 x 600 pixils

sao what should i do?

Change to high color. Thousands. Millions. Something higher than 256. If that's not available then something went wrong with the video driver during the windows installation.

Good to hear. I've never called a tech support person for anything other than my internet connection and on that I've definately called more times than I would've liked to.
