Computer bros DVD ROM problem...little help.

I don't know what's up with my computer, last night everything was fine.

I woke up this morning and tried to watch a movie and nothing.

Any type of disk DVD,music cd,Data cd, all just sit there and will not open of even show up.

I checked the device manager all good, cleaned all the insides and disconected/reconected everything and still nothing.

If you weren't inside the box fiddling around then I can't see it being anything else.
They be dirt cheap these days anyway - good excuse to get a dvd burner.

Actually it was a DVD burner, I've used it alot too.

Fuck...how much are they now a days?? I bought this bitch (Sony) when they 1st came out(around $400).

I use an LG - it was dirt cheap and has NOT let me down after 140+ burns. It was 89$ Cdn.

Generally NEC/Pioneer makes the best burners but I have a cheap $50 optowrite 4x and it works great.
