Alright my computer just doesn't want to let me play any sounds... when i try to play anything i get a "directsound output v2.2.6 error" then says please install proper drivers... but from where??

what os, what type of sound card. those two are biggies

XP... Hercules Fortissimo III..

It happened right after my comp decided to just freeze up on me..

unistall the driver to your sound card and re install it.. that "should" fix it
