Are you talkin about being a broker or agent or investing in commerical? I am an agent but only buy and sale for myself. I had to study and learn the ropes myself because I didn't have a mentor. You don't really have to be a broker to invest if you have someone to help you but of course the knowledge and contacts you will learn from the course is helpful. Start small to learn and then move up to progressively large properties. Good luck.
I have been thinking about going into commercial real estate myself lately. I was talking to a friend of my uncle's who is loaded and retired at 30, and he was telling me that basically he did it for 3 years and didn't make shit. He just lived off of odd jobs here and there. However when he finally did make a sale his cut was 12 million dollars so he quit and retired to Miami. He sold a big ass building Manhattan from what I remember.
