Finally got approved.. 6 days in town on the company $
Staying next to the conv center at the LV Hilton Sat - Fri.

Only bad part is that is where the Star Trek ride thingy is and it
should be loaded with those types.
I enjoy the show sort of but not the culture..

I want to go visit the Hoover Dam..

I've been to Vegas during an adult award show - but it wasn't THE AVAs. It was pretty funny/sad to see wasted stripper looking people just stumbling all around. I would have thought it hot, but it loses something in person I guess. Granted, I wasn't at the show, they were just around the area I was in for food once.

Also, Comdex booths in the past have had some pretty hot models to try to draw in the geeks.

I've heard that this year there was far less money spent and there isn't much new that they are showing off.

I would love to go, but can't get any authorization here for it. There is a hedge fund show here in BDA coming up soon - would even like to go to that.

I've already seen the Hoover dam - it did wonders for my fear of heights.
