Coloure on my DNP

I was just wondering what colore dnp is supposed to be, i know its yellow of course... But i have had both dark yellow and bright yellow. the dark yellow one worked by far best i think. My supplier has sendt me some now that i think is very pale yellow. My supplier claims its 98% pure and that the dark yellow i had before is only 68% pure, its all about how much you dry it thats decide the clore he claims. Is he right?

i think the color should be bright yellow for dnp....the problem is most sources that sell you dnp capped use a cornstarch base which changes the color slightly....

68% pure??? I would not use something like that.....that means about 1/3 of the cap contains something that isn't DNP.

One of my friends had dark yellow, and it worked like a charm for him. I have read that when DNP is shipped, water is added to it so it doesn't combust. That could be the reason why some has a darker appearance. Not for sure though.
