college bors and borettes...

Cooping this semester...heheh...study abroad this summer, then cooping again. Putting off graduation as much as possible.
 
Ahhhhhhhh.... final exams. I hated those.

I wonder if that is where Phatchick has disappeared to. :)

Took final in Sociology tonight. think i could handle getting a 60% on it and still get a B in the class, not quite sure.

finals week beginning of May. only 3 to do since one is out of the way.

3 weeks off, then summer semester starts. gonna bang out 2 classes this summer. i'm scheduled for English Comp 2 i believe in the 2nd summer semester. Tiger, me and you are going to have some looooooooooong talks after i take that class. someone's gotta try to teach you how to speak damn english.
 
yeah it's been a bad semester....catch up time with serious studying is going to be hard to pull of this semester.
 
definetly was a bad semester. lots of personal problems arose and fucked up the entire month of Febuary for me. been playing catch-up ever since. the shittiest part is that i was going to apply for Criminal Justice major in the fall, but they won't accept you if you have less than a 3.0 GPA, and while i currently have a 3.0, i think that's going to be dropping slightly :(

declared CJ as a minor yesterday though. needed to in order to get into any more CJ classes. now i've gotta go beg one of the 3 CJ professors to pink slip me into something for the fall.

only 5 more years or so of school.....planning on law school after this. that's gonna be fun.
 
im taking easy ass nutrition class for which I dont even need to studdy cause I already know most of the stuff from reading ef (and yes thats how easy it is(so far))

chemsitry entry level to is easy as fuck

and computer science class in which you get a 4.0 just for going to class and showing that you're working hard
 
Gotta get crackin on a final paper that's due monday, final exam on tuesday, then two more finals the following week. Not too bad. But I also have work, and a fucked up car to deal with...which is making my life hell, at exactly the wrong time.
 
next week is my last week of normal class....the following week is finals week...starting with an accounting final on saturday (so gay)
 
I'm FINALLY done with my Sunday class. Sunday afternoon class sounded much more appealing prior to starting it. Yuck. Right now I'm stressed because in my hardest science class, I'll be earning 40% of my grade in the next 2.5 weeks (2 tests and a final). Thankfully I have 3 weeks off after that before starting 4-day-a-week summer class.

I'm going to try to get into some general ed. classes and get them out of the way. Marines pay 100% tuition while I'm in. I figure I get as many basic courses out of the way on their dime, CLEP out of others, then use the GI Bill when I get out for my major.

I took business law and hated it. Got a C in it. I like the business aspect, but the law was just too much technical jargan for my jarhead brain to comprehend. I think I may give Marketing and Finance a try.

physics test tommorow

and in a couple weeks its finals week, blehhhhh.
 
don't forget exam week is the easiest week to get laid

late study nights.. huge stress levels.. suggest going out to get a drink to relax.. end up in hot tub

damn, i think sex would be the last thing on my mind while cramming for a final. actually, sex was the last thing on my mind when i was studying for finals last semester.

in general psych when we were talking about memory, we also discussed studying for tests. they recommended exercise and sex to help stimulate the brain. don't remember all the details of it so i can't be specific, however, you single college bors and borettes should check it out. find some way to incorporate that into the conversation while out having that drink. ;)

funny, I cant ever remember a time when sex was the last thing on my mind, even when sick....

finals suck. Lifting, diet, hygiene and sleep are all comprimised in the name of academics around this time. s
 
ok, i'll agree with you there....i can't remember too many times when sex wasn't on my mind, but last semester during finals week (my first semester back in school after 7 years out), i didn't want to think of anything cept studying.

my Criminal Justice final was interesting....teacher was a hippie. i listened to nothing but the Grateful Dead while studying for that final. had to get no less than 2 wrong on that final to get an A in the class, and i missed it, but still nailed a high B on it, and his tests were a bitch.

won't be lifting during finals week. took today to get a squat PR, will attempt bench PR monday, deadlift PR tuesday, then i'll probably be done for a week and a half. need to take a break anyway. i've been going too hard for too long.

hygiene.....uh.....dude......shower during finals you stinky bastard ;)
 
hahahhah, hygiene's only comprimised, not neglected. Shaving and all the other B.S. is what usually gets neglected.

Borderline grades are a bitch, I have been lucky in the fact I think my grades always went up after finals. Crappy performance throughout the year and then pull it together throughout the end.

I may have to actually adapt to non-cramming...........I wonder how it would be....?
