...reminds of the satellite photo's the US said it "had" at the end of the Gulf War that showed 250,000 Iraqi troops were massing at the Saudi border. A couple of years later, after some investigative reporting, it turned out this was a total lie.

...or how about the tales of Iraqi soldiers stealing incubators after taking the babies out. Turns out this "story" was conjured up by a US gov't hired PR firm...and that the witness to all this was the fucking daughter of the Kuwaitee ambassador to the US.

Let's suppose Saddam still has them and could use them. Where could he send Scuds ? Israel ? Kuwait ? Saudi Arabia ? I doubt he could reach Canada/US. I'm a lot more worried about North Korea.

One note though, if we own Iraq's oil that would not fuck our economy would it? Also, what kind of message does that give to Saddam and the rest of the world if you ignore him now and go after N.Korea? After the six month war, they will deal with N. Korea. The UN needs to take care of Iraq and North Korea!

Passiveness is not the answer as these countries are pussy footin' around manufacturing and hiding materials.

Both countries are in need of a new government. These people must be liberated!

The people of North Korea are starving! The government is withholding food supplies to ensure that the people will not become strong enough to resist the current government. Building weapons is certainly a possibility.

Iraq is certainly a problem. A dictator who kills and lies to his own people must be removed. Iraq has weapons of mass destruction.

Nations across the world need to pull their head out of their ass and realize the importantance international security.

The problem with that Louden is the the U.N. is rendering itself completely useless when it comes to international conflict. The U.N. has turned into the Red Cross. The are much better at humanitarian aid than showing force. The U.N. keeps passing resolutions but doesn't make good on them. How many times has Saddam been in violation? Many can say Israel has been in violation for 3 decades. But the U.N. does nothing.

Try telling your child not to do something and they do it and you do nothing. Watch where that child ends up.

We have tried diplomacy with Saddam... he has not followed the rules that the UN set down for him from the very beginning. There is no other viable option now besides going in. He will not be led into exile, diplomacy has not and will not work... that leaves only 1 other option...

He has chemical and biological agents- it is not like nuclear weapons that will act as deterrents. If you are building and stockpiling these materials it is likely that you will use them at some point. It is a real threat that he will smuggle biological or chemical agents into the US and attack us in that manner. Something has to be done.
