I think you will be better off working on technique for a month or so with just an empty bar, get the feel, speed and fluidity. This is important. Breaking down the lifts into simplier components and drilling them for sets of 5. A coach would be better, it will save you much time and grief and possible injury potential.
If your after just speed and power, training like any olylifter may not be ideal. Their training is sports specific, ie clean and jerk and snatch more poundage. Their speed and power is just a by product of years of training the way they do, plus genetics as well - slow people don't do very well in olylifts as a competitve sport. But that's not to say they can't improve themselves with olylifting etc - every bit helps.
But you don't need to do the full lifts to get the benefits. Honestly you need to gear your training to your goals, but adding in the olylifts as supplemental training. You cna also get similar results without olylifts by using a combo jumpsquats, plyos speed squats, sprints etc etc
And don't forget all speed and and power improvements requires a base of strength, so get stronger
