Coffee

I love coffee. It's great. I would not have wanted to live before coffee. I drink it in the morning to get going, and during the day to stay happy. Perhaps I am addicted?...I am glad I am addicted to coffee. On any given day I drink between 4-6 large mugs of the stuff. It helps me stay lean and makes me sociable. Plus I can actually enjoy the boring stream of shit that comes out of my proffesors mouths. Yep, I wonder what people did before coffee?

I drink Folgers dark roast most of the time. I have a bag of Jamaican Blue Mountain that I keep in the cubbard for those special occasions. I pour a little out, add water and whamo! I have coffee.

1,3,7 trimethylxanthine. It's a pretty powerful dopimanergic drug and CNS stimulant. That friendly, happy feeling is mainly due to the dopamine release you're getting. I wish it still gave me the same kick as when I first started drinking it.

Enjoy.

i hate it. its the most vile disgusting taste on earth. i cant stand it

which is a pity because everyone else manages with kless sleep by drinking it. oh well :(

Have you tried tea? I love tea as well. There is a coffee shop in my town that has over thirty different varieties of tea from around the world. It's good fun to sample different types of tea.

Vivarin. A little yellow pill washed down with a glass of water- my favorite kind of instant coffee. :D

i like green tea, and some chinese tea's :)

i can;t stand black tea (normal tea)

i usually make do with a splash of cold water in the face casavant. it doesnt work very well :( i may invest in some caffeine pills if i get real tired

Java: Love it! Can't drink anymore than 1 cup/day though, or I'm bouncing off the walls.

Tea: I have one box each, of every type of "Celestial Seasoning" Brand Tea made. I like the Country Peach best.

Anyone who is a coffee drinker knows the effect of that first cup of the morning. Its like ambrosia in effects. The second or third are ok but that first one!. That first cup and its like ok, im here and ready to go! A few thru the day should be enough, but that depends on the days demands, and coffee is there to meet those demands. To me caffeine is not an addiction cause many times Im unable to have any during the day. But if I do, the day is all that much better/easier. Anyone else here subscribe to the Coffee Annuals of Better Living?

you foolio's know that 90% of the caffiene you consume throughout the day takes effect within the first 60 seconds of consumption?Just a lil' fyi for ya's.

UH. ok. The other 10%? So it works fast, and so does sugar. Is smoked caffeine any quicker? JMWU

Cuban Coffee is the best. That American stuff tastes like water to me. I can drink a whole mug and still fall asleep in class 10 minutes later.

Folger's sucks my dick...

if you really want to enjoy your java, go and buy a french press style coffee maker... most of the time I brew "Millstone" brand beans (available at most grocery stores) it's good for the dollar and the french press will make any bean taste better than a drip maker... smoother, less bitter... but my new faves are some of the organic beans at Whole Foods...

Yeah Folgers is certainly not the best there is, however it gets the job done in the mornings. I have a French Press too which I use for different types of teas and coffee. You should try Yerba Mate sometime in your press. Good stuff no doubt.

I have some Celestial Seasoning English Breakfast Tea in the cubbard. Definitely good stuff.

Yes, having a cup right now. I don't drink much on the weekends. I have to get up at 4:30 a.m. and if I don't get that cup of coffee, I can barely stay awake. A friend was over the other night and b4 we went out, we had a cup of coffee. We had a good laugh about it, we said 15 years ago there's no way we would be drinking coffee bfore going out. A sure sign that you're getting older.
