Also for the record I'm not saying all those who practice alternative medicine are quacks, I'm saying than unfortunately some really are and they give the rest who are very good a bad image, dad had luck with a couple of homeopathic dudes in CR, but unfortunately they arent regulated over there so there's a bunch of weirdos making all sorts of outrageous claims of shit they do and they cure, those are the ones that piss me off.

True, but both in the allopathic and Naturopathic world, you get quacks making claims. I think this is just part and parcel of life.

Well, the problem is I have a diff vision of medicine than most of you guys have, I spent over 12 years abroad where medicine is socialized/public, Dr are paid by the government and are not controlled in any kind of way by Pharma, on the other hand you might want to give MDs some credit, they're not all pill prescribing lunatics, so far we've been lucky with the Drs we've seen here, I do think that some overprescribe but I blame the patients, americans have become such bitches about not feeling an ounce of pain that they get strong shit, they practically demand it, however Dr shouldnt cave in to this behavior...
