I'll be looking for a training partner in November. If anybody is interested it would be after work around 5:00pm Monday-Friday.

I am open to any gym cause I use golds in my town for the weekends. As long as the gym is around Delk road or near I-75 north past exit 261, Cause I am on my home.

Definetely one of the best gyms around. I used to bounch at the Crystal Palace on the weekends! Another great (crazy!!) place to be at 5 am . At least in 1991.

another good one is PTI (Personal Training Institute) on Roswell, near American Pie

I've worked out there several times, its definitely old school! That room with the squat rack and bench is called "the room of doom" now or so I've heard - hard core to say the least! Theres some big boys that work out there thats for sure - saw a guy bench 600 lbs last time I was there. Kinda knocked me down to earth - I thought my 505 at the time was pretty good!

Ultimate warrior!

Yea , I saw Fred Hatfield sqat over 1k there and a lot of big guys. The Ultimate warrior used to work out there, I can't remember his real name. Anyone remember what happen to him besides putting down his juice stick!

a few of those guys used to work out at PTI, which is run by a few guys from South Africa. Jake Strauss, one of their trainers, supposedly has the largest muscular arms in the world, 28 in.

Pretty funny that I am reading this post. I just passed by Coffee Gym the other day, on my lunch break. I work right off of Delk Road. Had no idea what type of gym it was, or if it was even still open.

I have seen the Sporting CLub, but that looks more like another one of the chain Social Clubs.

I live in Douglasville by the way.
