I just bought this "norwegian cod liver oil"... is this what you are referring to when you say fish oil? I am still on the hunt for cheap/good/carbless mct oil as well. So far all 3 of them (flax, fish, mct) have made me gag. =\ Any tricks to taking them?

I don't know many tricks on taking in the oil....this is what I do:

pour 1 tbsp. of the liquid in the spoon, HOLD my breath and drink it fast (holding my breath the whole time) than immidiately (still holding my breath) I drink water and a protein shake or 1 cup of crystal light to clear up the taste. If you don't pass out, than you'll enjoy the NO taste that this method leaves behind.

Cod liver oil is (as you might have guessed) obtained from the liver of a cod. CLO is not only a good EFA, but it's also good for the joints.

I blend all my oils into a shake. I find that with the flavored protein powder I use that I don't taste the oil.
I also put a teaspoon of cinnamon in my shake and that masks the taste as well. I read somewhere that cinnamon helped with glucose disposal, not sure if it's true but it sure makes the shakes taste yummy, and with no extra sweetener, hey why not.

I think GNC sells flavored Cod Liver Oil........I think they have cherry flavor, not sure if it helps the taste or not though.

cod liver oil is also high in vitamins A, D and E

they also do sell 'fish oil', its much less widespread in shops. FISH OIL has little A, D and E in it, but has higher concentrations of EFA's in it, in other words more bang for your buck

if u are alreayd taking a multivit, u probably get enough A and E, and hopefully enough sun for D.....

codliver oil is also good, but fish oil is different to it. which is odd considering they are both from fish :D
