My thoughts exactly. It's like diet coke in that it has zero calories, but it's sweeter like regular coke.

but then again, diet coke is nasty, so it wasn't hard to be better

Super sweet(almost too sweet) and has that splenda or whatever aftertaste..

I went through a case of that stuff, and went back to Diet Coke. The Zero is better than the Diet Coke with Splenda, but there's still something slightly "off" about it.

I think it's odd that they'd introduce two nearly identical products at the same time -- Diet Coke w/Splenda and Coca Cola Zero. Both are supposed to taste more like Coca Cola Classic. Why are they competing with themselves?

it's probably a test and one will fall off the radar when they see which one people prefer... who knows... I still can't figure out what is in colca cola zero..

Me too. Both Zero and Splenda DC have citrus-y overtones that seem very un-Coca-Cola-like to my palate.

Unless my local Coca-Cola bottling plant is using the same vats for those that they use for DC w/lemon, and not cleaning them between batches...
