My girlfriend is soon going to be doing a cycle of anavar, and she wants to cycle clen/ephedrine as well. I am wary of letting her do this because she has MVP.

I know no one here (for the most part) is a doctor, but if anyone here knows anything about it, let's hear your thoughts.

Mitral Valve Prolapse occurs when fibres preventing the valve from prolapsing are damaged (purkinjey fibres I think they are called from my A/P lectures).

This often causes indaquate filling of left ventricle and reduced stroke volume (the amount of blood ejected at ventricullar systol).

Steriods have an effect on the 'thickness' of the blood due to increased RBC. Although the drug you describe is, in my opinion, weak it will still increase RBC's.

This will make the work of the heart harder as back pressure in the auorta will be increased further adding to the complications of Tricuspid (Mitral) valve prolapse.

Epherdrine, like any CNS stimulant will cause the heart to worker 'harder'... probably not the best idea when on gear and suffering from Tricuspid prolaspse.

So, in short I would not recommend it.

There are a range of surgical interventions can resolve this problem as you are no doubt aware.

Any clen or ephedrine should be canned.

Frackal, You are with kartchick? If so I think that its not fair or in good taste to air your queries about possible juice useage or how to prepare for anal sex. Use a "friend" as an example or a different screen name.

I have MVP and have been cycling on and off for years. I've had my heart checked and they said it looks fine. In no way am I telling you that it doesn't matter. I'm just telling you my experience.

YMK ,

I understand your point, but trust me, no one is more protective of Kartchick then me. Also, most on here would not know whether KC was my girlfriend, and same with the Between The Sheets board. I think a PM would have been a better choice on your part.

In retrospect, the anal post was a bad idea, and we discussed this even before your post above, because I felt bad about it, I don't want people to get the wrong idea of her.

The AAS thing though, IF (a big IF) she ever uses, then I'm sure she'll discuss it here...after all, that's what this board is for.

Good morning,

I was diagnosed with Mitral Valve prolapse over thirty years ago, my mother also has it and has had corrective heart surgery.

It has not bothered me, once understood, even on high does of clen and ECA combined.

When very bothersome, (pounding or clicking) I will take 10 mg of Enderal, simple beta blocker and that normally solves the problem.

Gear does not affect the valve, at least for me, and I think she would be fine with something like anavar or primo.

FYI- There is a very informative MVP group in Birmingham,
Alabama- associated with the University of Alabama and the heart association, I have not been in contact with them for over ten years, but I would suspect they have a web presence.

Your post is strangely coincidental, I take an enderal to minimize symptoms about once every two to three months, (use to be daily). This morning when I got up, my heart was clicking and pounding like a Studebaker so a popped an enderal-then I read your post!

It depends to the degree of the condition, each case is unique. In the majority of cases this condition does not effect a normal life or shorten it. My mother has this condition and is 84 years old. I would not advise EPH or T-3. Clen has much less effect on cardiac muscle than EPH, However I am not educated enough in this area to recommend clen either, I am quite sure that research info is available. I don't see anyway that mild anabolics would hurt your girlfriend. In fact I think that they may be of beneifit. It would be wonderful if there were more open minded MD's available to us. Good luck
