CNN Poll shows SUBSTANTIAL support for MARIJUANA

According to a new CNN poll, 34 % of all Americans want to see marijuana legalized....Each year since 1969 when only 12% of society approved of the legalization of marijuana, support for the herb has grown.

Opposition against marijuana, polling shows, is strongest among REPUBLICANS, church-goers, and the elderly.

Let's all hope support continues to grow.

The day has long past when out judicial and prison system should be the victims of such an innocent indulgence....When we can all finally smoke marijuana legally, our courts will have fewer cases, our prisons less crowded, and the alcohol industry will have competition.

If alcohol is legal, why not marijuana.

I agree with you on this one for sure. I am glad you see the issue in this light. I and my brother had a debate on this subject 26 years ago in my high school newspaper.

I could not believe they allowed it. Now adays you would kicked out of school for such an idea.

Herb is medicine, tobacco is not. Alcohol is poison but I do like a beer or two.

I am glad we have something in common. I am going to give the benefit that we can agree on some things and hope you take this as compliment.
