A question on form...

When doing close grip bench, should I focus on keeping my elbows close to my body? They tend to flare out in a right angle from the bench - I'm assuming this isn't the great form.

keeping them close keeps the tension on the medial tricep head, the strongest head for pushing.

thanks...that's what i thought. the harder it got, the more my arms wanted to turn outwards, so i figured that wasn't proper form.
 
To aid in keeping them close, try bringing the bar down a little lower than you would when benching bro. Touching approximately mid-stomach level. Grip-width helps too. Don't go too close. I put my ring-finger on the inside line of the outer diamond-grip.
 
Pointer finger on the smooth...keep a small arch and tuck the lats...bring the bar a little lower and press through your wrists to your toes....in other words bring the bar down low and push it away from yourself, this usually ends up as a straight line
