Clomid should work just as well if taken well after the cycle is over. But the question is why didnt it work the first time. Seems like it might not work if it didnt work for the first six weeks. Your testosterone level and your estrogen level have to decrease to a normal level after the cycle for the clomid to work, but six weeks should have been long enough for that. Maybe your testosterone level has returned but you just dont have your usual sex drive because clomid also increases your estrogen (clomid is an estrogen aganist and antagonist) which may decrease your sex drive. It seems like taking arimidex toward the end of the clomid cycle might help, because clomid fools your body into producing more testosterone because it makes you hypothalamas or pituitary gland unable to recognize your estrogen level ie your brain thinks you dont have enough estrogen so it produces more testosterone. This inturn increaes your estrogen level. So when you quit taking the clomid and your body sees an increased estrogen level it will likely decrease production of testosterone again. So if you take the arimidex that prevents the conversion of testosterone to estrogen then it would seem that you would avoid some of this. My cow did a cycle of deca over a year ago because I was hoping it would help it recover from a nagging injury and I still dont feel that my testosterone level has recovered. It takes clomid off and on when I feel it is quite decreased. I have posted this before on this board and people probably think that I am an anti steroid cruisader. on the contrary I think it should be the individuals right not the govrnment's right to decide what someone can put in there bodies. I just think some people here need to realize that most people may not have trouble with steroids, but perminately decreased testosterone levels are a real danger for atleast some people. I have a few questions about clomid myself but I am not sure anyone here has a better understanding of its mechanisms than I do. I will start a new thread with my questions. If you continue to have trouble I would go to a doctor. As with any problem you have to find the right doctor or he may not know shit about the problem either. Good luck to you.
