Riker, I fail to see your point. I have explained why it is better to start higher and work your way down. Towards the end of your cycle androgen levels will still be fairly high. Clomid at smaller amounts will not be as productive. Clomid at doses will not cause sides any more noticeable than the outdated dosing method. As I said the cost for me anyways is approx $10/24 tabs, so for $20 I get 48 tabs which is more than enough to follow this method.

PS if ya want some more evidence on this method do a search. Huck, Lawnsaver and some very old members who no longer post here have all recognised it.

My point was that I have seen reference to this schedule:

300 mg first day
100 mg/day for balance of week 1
50 mg per day for the next week.
50 mg EOD for the next week

Far far far far more than I have seen reference to what YOU suggested, which was,

300 mg first day
100 mg/day for 10 days
50 mg per day for 10 days

I was simply wondering - what basis is there for such a schedule?
