I was a sophomore, the two main things that stick out are that my best friend died in a car accident and my parents kicked me out

Being popular has never mattered to me, even as a kid. While people may have liked me and no one disliked me I've always been a one person deep friendship kind of person rather than a bunch of less deep type of friendships required to be super popular. So 1997 was bad because I lost someone that I was emotionally close to, a rather intense friendship..first time with grief like that. I was young though.

Parents take their kids cars all the time when they are in trouble, and I don't remember why they took it but my parents weren't such assholes that they would take my car because of what someone else did to me.
