Clen Questions

First, I would like to say that I have read the clen faq on this site and many others. My premed cousin and I just ordered our first shipment of clen from AGGuys (liquid format) called liquiclen and I wanted to ask ya'll some questions.

First, I am now weighing at 240lbs. I am an ex-mma fighter who weighed at 190 before I got a real good kick of depression that lasted about a year thanks to my first loss (note to other mma fighters, do not just "take a fight" on a whim when you have been training hard for the past few months).

So, I am not just trying to stop being fat all of a sudden, I want to regain my shape and confidence and get back in the cage. So, I want to try clen. My goals are to lose about 40 lbs with the help of clen and go on a month of strict maintainence (so i just dont balloon up). Then lose the rest naturally to prove to myself I can lose/maintain weight again.

Now, I have a few simple question, if you could please help me:

1. This is the cycle recommended to me by my cousin, I know many sites advertise to start with 20 but he says cause im so damn fat now i can handle a little higher dosage:

mcg: 60/60/80/80/100/100/120/120/100/100/80/80/60/60
Translates into liquid mL: .3/.3/.4/.4/.5/.5/.6/.6/.5/.5/.4/.4/.3/.3
(if math is wrong pls let me know)

What do you think?

2. My goal is to lose 40lbs in 2 cycles of the aforementioned cycle, is that realistic/unrealistic? What is a common amount of fat/percent of fat lost due to a cycle?

3. Should I go see a doctor about my liver/kidneys before trying this stuff?

4. As far as my workouts go I was recommended to run 7x a week and lift with light weights 7x a week. This seems a bit much to me, I am currently running 5x a week in prep for a 1/2 marathon and not lifting at all but I am willing to change my plans around.

5. To protect my liver I was recommended to cycle no more than 3x for every 3 month period, is there an official rule of thumb to follow? I am extremely concerned about my health.

Thank you all for your time and patience, I sincerely appreciate whatever help is given to me. I hope to regain the confidence I once had and become the athlete that I am inside.

Well, I guess my goals are unrealistic because I am simply going by word of mouth when it comes to clen. Yes, my diet is a 2000 calorie per day diet that is 20% fat, 40% carb, 40 % Protein with 6 meals per day in it. My exercise program is 6 days a week running and 3 days a week lifting.

Only problem is I have a hard time sticking to it anymore :/ I was thinking by taking this drug it would be the extra motivation I need.

thats the thing though. clen can do some pretty amazing fat burning but only with a CONSISTENT DIET AND CARDIO. I reccomend shifting some carb cals to protein.

Thats a good idea, also make sure you getting the good fats in your diet. Fish oil, olive oil, flax, ect. these will help in your weight loss goals

well that is what Im looking to have longterm. I just need the extra motivation of clen to get me started, I dont want any rebound weight the moment i get off of clen.

i think u r missing my point. u need the diet change now not later. if u dont have motivation now it will be a disaster. rebound will occur.

I am doing it now :)

i am really not trying to be a hard ass. we are all here to help and have made some of these mistakes b4 and want people to stay safe and realize their goals.

post up the revised diet, meal by meal (with serving sizes), so that we may critique.

You need to do more research.
You WILL have a nasty rebound.
You forgot to add certain supplements to make sure of that.
I would list them but they are obvious. You should know them.
As was mentioned by everyone else. You will not lose much of anything if your diet is not spot on and you are not working out and doing cardio too.

Thanks for your concern 8and20, I will achieve my goals I have done it before and will do it again.

slat, as far as more research what do you think im doing here? The only supplements I have read about in the many faq's are taurine and potassium.s

My diet is here in excel format, I have it sorted by everything that can possibly be in my diet by going through sams club and kroger and scouting good food. Maybe you guys can find something you like and add it to your current diet or maybe you can use this for yourself. Please give me any suggestions about my diet

Exercise:

Today I did the "fat burning zone" on the eliptical machine and about wanted to kill myself from boredom, I think from now on im going to run outside, on grass, as fast as I want and fuck this whole "fat burning zone" i like keeping my HR around 180-190 for one hour.

So: 5 days cardio, 2 days weightlifting. That is what I have in my weightloss diet and I guess thats what I will use during my Clenbuterol cycle. Any suggestions, recommendations, etc?

i think the cals are too low. look up your BMR. there are many online calculators that will give u this info. the super low cals will work for a few days maybe a week and then your metabolism will slow way down, not to mention the muscle loss that will incur and not fat.

also up that protein percentage and drop the carb percentage. i would like to see it go up to 50%. since i think u need to actually up the cals some based on your BMR you wont need to actually drop carbs right now (perhaps in future as progress stalls). the upped cals will come from protein.

my bmr multiplied by my workout factor is around 3700 and my calorie intake has been lowered 2k so i can max dropping weight. But you are recommending that I start intaking more protein (which i will). I will retool the estimates and get it back up here for you tomorrow.

I think is what 8and20 was saying, is… Increase cal your food intake to help tap into body fat storage. Your body will know it’s getting ample nutrition from 5-6 meals a day (which you have just up the cal intake closer to your BMR), and start to use more of your bodyfat as energy. The less food you eat the higher chance you have of becoming catabolic and turning even small amounts of calories into fat for storage and possible muscle lose.

Doesn’t sound like you have fallen to far from the horse, it would not take you long to lose 20lbs naturally then maybe start your cycle and get way more out of it. I bet you could lose 5 if not 10lbs a week if you ran like a mofo keeping your MHR way up without Clenbuterol.

1600-1700 cals is what my wife uses when she diets and she is way skinnier than both of us.

i would start at no less than 2500 cals. the cardio & weights will eat up a good chunk of cals.

I am running 6x a week, putting the half marathon on hold till i am ready to properly train for it (11 weeks till now). So Im just going to worry about fatloss till then. I agree about the running, I have been running 6x a week;however, no weight training. I am currently following the philosophy of lose the fat first then build the muscle. Besides that, I still have a shit load of muscle from my mma days. What do you guys think the impact of the clen will be? An extra 10 maybe 15 per cycle? Im going to continue running like a madman and when i start the clen Im going to lift weights at night too. The way it was explained to me is that clen boosts what metabolic function you are already initiating; therefore, if i sit on my ass, nothing will happen. If I train to the max, I will get incredible results.

i still think u should lift weights even if u still think u have enuf mass. u will need to maintain it (unless u think u are carrying around too much muscle). the metabolic boost alone will be worth it. atrophy will likely occur if u dont.

Just some other advice with the Clenbuterol ... from an regular runner and cardio trainer as well as obviously lifting; the Taurine and potassium are really important and you need to really listen to your body - Clen really cramped me up and I kept partially tearing my calf on Clen. I would also cramp up in my chest and shoulders. Clen is strong and definitely works, but listen to your body as everyone reacts differently to Clen. In the end I decided to stop taking it because of the side effects.

Good luck, stay disciplined

I'm an avid BJJ grappler. I tried clen and quickly learned grappling and the cramp inducing tendency of clen do not mix. I went for a triangle while using it and my calf cramped so hard I could not move my foot. I could not even easily straighten the bend in my knee the cramp was so intense.
