Cleaning up your credit

paying off your bills, applying for a mortgage, looking at homes, drawing up a monthly budget, realizing that you need to make more money, cutting back on expenses, cancelling one of your gym memberships, buying furniture. This shit is so exciting.

Yepper - it bites.

I remember the days that I just needed money to get my projects done for school, pounds and pound of angel hair pasta and bar money.

Ever notice the older you get the more expensive your toys get?

Mind boggling isn't it?

I could make $50 a week last back then - now it's gone before I get out of bed in the morning.

Poof!

well i saw a few on Sunday, one which was doable but Im wanting more than doable. I want something im excited about. Im going to see 2 more tomorrow after work so we shall see how that goes. I'm looking at Townhomes. It's only me and my son so a 3bd two-story townhome will be plenty for us.

I have a feeling I will be the cheapest bastard as I get older. I do not enjoy spending money at all....putting it in the bank makes me happy. I would not have one regret if I died and left a crap load of money to my daughter......most I talk to say they want to spend it all and leave nothing behind.

I guess I am different than most....I don't really know anyone my age that has what I have...or have the credit score I have. The thing is, I don't make a ton of money....it boils down to trying to bring in money from multiple things instead of just relying on your 9-5 job.

hey! PM me if you need help squaring your credit away. I know an excellent service that gets you all the tools you need for $20....most of the so-called 'pros' charge $300 or more.

Sounds good... yeah I'm lookin' to get a townhome as well...I have an IRA that will go towards the down payment & we're saving money as well. I want the payment as low as possible you know? I'm looking into the Tinley Park area - what about you Smurf? :qt:

Hey Thanks Matt. But as of today i have everything pretty much squared away as far as the credit goes. It was just a few things that i needed to take care of. More time consuming and tedious that anything.
