Clean Diet?

I see the phrase "Clean diet" used all over the place like it's some universally known thing. So, I thought I'd query to see what everyone's version of "clean diet" is.

Post up!

I havent had fast food in 5 years, bread in 2, no candy (save sugar free gum and sugar free candy), nio alcohol in 1.5 years..............this was the first month I started incorporating bars (EAS carb sense) into my diet and that was a struggle............I consider that pretty damn clean.

No processed food and food as close to natural as possible. This is my general definition of "clean diet".

EDIT: remove double post.

But it seems you've not stopped drinking alcohol Millie ;)

All veggies, fruit, flesh, rice, rice noodles, potatoes and yams.
Nothing processed and out of a box or bag.
No dairy.
No sugar

I haven't done that for years.

I'm not much of a fan of rice unless it's delivering raw fish, and I rarely eat fruit.

I'm on a modified Atkins/CKD diet. Meaning I do it for how it seems to work for me.

I haven't eaten wheat, yeast, oat, dairy since the start of Feb and no sugar since March and I've eaten enough fish to cause a small deficit. You have to know how to cook rice and jazz it up a bit with dry berries and nuts.

Mmmmmmm sushi.

Rice is good for two things. First it makes a good packing material, and second it does well at delivering raw fish. ;)

Occasionally I'll have a small amount of rice with some chicken or beef so long as it has a spicy sauce to go along with it. Anything I have to work that hard at to jazz up isn't worth eating.

Just too bad you don't know a solid, nutrional carb source when you see one.......Brown rice, oats, and yams....................nothing can compare, save maybe beans...........

Yams I LOVE to eat. Oats bloat me something furious. And rice is well, blech.

ahhh...you were talking from a taste standpoint..........try it with brown rice, chicken, a tortilla wrap and some melted cheese...then tell me what you think of rice.......
