As a kid I loved this movie. Then when I got older I couldn't get over how cheesy it was but I just watched it recently and found myself enjoying it. Go figure.

that was one of the first books i ever read and i LOVED the movie. i can believe that guy ended up on LA Law a while back...go figure. i still get all excited when it comes on youve got to love that little owl!

That was the last of the Ray Harryhousen flicks which I loved. Others included the Sinbad Movies, Jason and the argonauts and my very favorite.. Mysterious Island. Anyone remember Mysterious Island where the civil war prisoners escape in a balloon and end up crashing into an island after a storm? They encounter among other things, Giant bees, a giant Crab, and they live in a huge granite cave wall? They also meet Captain Nemo. I loved that movie as a kid!

of course ive seen that movie about a hundred times.. i love all those old fantasy flicks.
