CKD and vactation

When following a CKD what do you guys plan on doing if you happen to go on vacation. What do you eat? When on vacation you can't really control portion sizes or cook your own food. Do you just eat whatever as long as it does now contain carbs?

I just eat meat...goto BK and order a doble whopper and just drop the bread and eat the buns...not rocket science...
But, also, a good one, (since I know you don't like meat) is getting the chicken whopper.

In addition, sometimes it's a good time to take a brake from CKD when you're on vacation. Just don't binge on carbs.

So it really doesn't matter what your eating, just stay away from the carbs and don't worry about the protein/fat ratios or the total calories. If you don't though, how is it possible to be in ketosis if your protein is too high?

I would think you should try to moderatly estimate calories that you are eat. But its vacation bro, so enjoy yourself a little, 1-2 weeks a year isnt much. Just try to have a good amount of fats and proteins, and relax. Steaks, Eggs, Cheese Burgers, Hotdogs, Chicken, bacon etc, For breakfast have a 5 whole egg omlete with bacon in it, that should situate you fine for a few hours, then goto BK, then goto dinner, and have something before bed. You will be fine. I dont know if you are going someplace tropical but if you then maybe eat some carbs in the morning, or post workout so if you eat carbs on vacation you dont blow up like a pufferfish, becaue of water retenetion.

Well, you have no other choice, unless you want to spend your vacation walking around w/ a flaxseed oil bottle/ a GI scale/a calorie counter/ a protein jug...I would recommend just keeping the carbs low

Let's say you end up eating BK for the majority of yoru meals, would you eat the lettuce with the mayo and pattie? How about the cheese, it doesn't have any carbs right?

Cheese has 1-2 carbs, lettuce 1-2, so that would be fine.
