Do the buses run late? Or is the company bad? My limited experience on TO metro and buses is that it is much nicer than Washington DC, at least.

Some of the major TTC routes run 24 hours. That's partially the reason why I moved into the current house that I'm in. Its very close to a main line for the late night rides.

The company itself isn't bad per see; but I'm not sure how well its managed.

It seems that alot of towns have the same problem. I lived in Whitby for two years. NEVER AGAIN! 3+ hour commute when the snow falls!

They've been talking abbout a high speed access between Kitchener & Guelph for over 20 yrs. Traffic gets worse, 30km/h along highway 7, & they still haven't decided anything.

Steeles turns into a major road when you take it from TO to Whitby. They've decided to expand it. As you can imagine, there are several entrance points onto that road once you pass Pickering.

You guessed it. They expanded the road where there weren't entrance points. So, each point now acts like a choke point.
