Christmas HELP - Please answer!

I really need some input here. This weekend I'll be seeing my ex-girlfriend (who I went out with for well over a year). I want to give her some sort of Christmas present that will be really touching or special or impressive. I don't really have alot of money, so I figure I should go for the touching or emotional type of impressive. I still care for her very deeply, and I beleive she cares for me, but we can't be together right now for some complicated reasons that I won't get into. So I'm ok with the gift being kind of romantic or mushy... The problem is that I have no clue at all what to do - I really need some input here... I know I'm not giving you guys much to go on, but hopefully you can give some helpful insight. This is really important to me, so any replies are very appreciated.

Where do you live?

A limo ride into the city, a show and a horse ride through Central Park.

Of course if you don't live in NY you're out of luck.

Hmm...finding that gift that does not say too much yet just enough...very tough.

You could possibly find a poem somewhere...one that you really like. Maybe something that could be taken either way. She might read it and think that it was a good "friendly" thing to do or maybe she might read it and realize that it was a very "sincere and loving" thing to do. Either way...it could turn out good.

Don't write it out or anything...maybe something like a small plaque or tiny framed type of thing...something small but sweet.

I agree with b, poem would be cool

One year I got my girlfriend a gold dipped rose, it was relitivly cheap, bout 40 bucks, got some glass beads and put them in a clear vase, it was pretty cool.
