Chiropractors

every year around the middle of tax season i get some back issues from leaning over my computer for 12 or 15 hours a day while all hyped up on caffeine. . .i have a chiro client that i go see once a week, for a few weeks each year, does the trick for me. . .also started going to a massage therapist once a month. . .highly recommended. . .

I did after my car crash 8 years ago. It helped a lot along with my PT. I was a fucking mess and almost died. Went threw the front window while I was driving, with seat belt on too! It broke! I was thrown about 30 feet. 12 car pile up. Was on the West Side Highway in NYC and it have curves once you pass the GW bridge. Huge pile up and when I went around a curve, BAM! Right into the mix. No drugs and no drinking, this was mid day!

I went to one recently for a stiff/sore neck that wouldn't go away. He did the electro stim and massage and gave me an adjustment. I definately walked out feeling better and felt great the next day.

I have a friend that is one. He adjusts me fairly regularly, but irregularly. HAHA.

If I see him 3 times a week, I get adjusted 3x. If I see him once every 2 weeks, I get adjusted 1 every 2 weeks. Since it's free..... I can't complain or expect a steady schedule.

Personally, I feel just as good when someone walks on my back and cracks everything under their feet. You can't fall for that crap about chiros being able to do magical shit like improve your memory, cure digestive problems, etc...

So so far, all good.
I don't think of Chiro's a crack pots, I'm just not sure they can make me feel better.
My sister and a guy I work with swears by them. I don't have back pain, but a lot of stess on my body from lupus. My sister's Chiro says he helps many lupus sufferes.
I want to make sure a chiro can help, before my body is manipulated making it worse.
My insurance covers a chiro so not worried about the money.

And your neck still feels ok??!

YES and I love him!!

I was in a car accident a few years back (hit and run) and it messed me up pretty bad. I have to go every few weeks now but I was there 3x a week in the beginning. I will be going to one for the rest of my life

i go twice a week

once for my back and once for my knee..

they get expensive if you go every week i pay 60 bucks a session. But its really depends on you.

Sometimes if im good with my stretching and icing down the inflamation and stuff i dont really need to go. but others day like yesterday i totatlly locked up and had to go.
