Chevrolet mechanics?

whats the problem?

LOL it's not mechanics. I want to know how much a specific job pays in labour time.
Only a GM shop employee would know this.
thanks

re and re alternator on a 91 Lumina Z34 manual.
the manual takes a little less time than the auto because you may not have to remove the drive shaft.

the alternator is in a retarded place.

anyway I need to know what the job pays in time.

I hate chevy. Owned one, nothing but problems starting at 50,000 miles on up to 124,000 when it was no longer even worth fixing with so many problems. Never again, ever. Same goes for Ford. Don't support crap and maybe they'll stop making it.

i think its about 65 or 75 $ an hour where im from. but theres a book that has what each thing should cost for parts and labor. most shops have to have one. or the program on thier computer. my camshft had to get replaced in my truck. it was supposed to take 5 hrs. it took ten. but they could only charge for the 5. you see what im sayin. not sure what its like in canada
