Chest workout questions

Does this make sense: I went completely died on my 4th set of incline barbell presses, getting only 5 reps (the exercise i chose to do first in my workout, since its one of my weaker points), but went up 10lbs in flat bench dumbell presses, going strong through 4 sets. Can someone explain this to me? Was i not warmed up enough for my first sets?
 
Did you have a spotter for your incline? If not, it may of been psychological, and you could of gotten some more reps with the mental assurance of a spotter.
Also, incline barbell and flat dumbell are going to work your chest in entirely different ways, so to be stronger on one than the other is not uncommon. Have you spent more time in the past of flat chest exercises than incline?
