Had a pretty good day, still getting use to a higher rep range, yes more than 5 is high for me:) .

Flat Bench 3x8 with 250, nice and easy with strong lockouts

Incline 2x10 with 170, really easy only hard part was I still get tired way to fast.

Flyes 2x12 with 25's. easy but motion felt akward due to never doing flyes

Oh db ext with band 45 3x8
Pushdowns 3x8 with 100lbs


I am finally getting use to higher ranges, funny thing is almost all the weight feels the same for the first 5 reps, when i do flat the first five can be either 135 or 295 and it feels the same after 5 reps though I am shot. Guess just another thing I am gonna work on:fro:

Good workout, definitely, and I gotta say I'm in the same boat. Those first five, at least beyond the easiest warm-up, *do* feel about the same.

Why is that, I wonder? I hate it. I want to warm up and laugh at the little girlie weights along the way :D

so what training method are you on now? I'm curious because in about 4 months i will be switching over to something new and your high rep sounds good. Is that all you did for tris?? no skullcrushers or cgb? jw??

Goldukat- I hear ya, too many months pushing 5x5 and working on fast twitch fibers ;)

From Zero- I am trying to use a higher rep range just to emphasize form and get a little more growth, and to be honest my joints need a rest

T3C- it is not bodybuilding ;) lol, just a change of pace

Protobe- I am gonna train tris a twice a week now, my new method is a slight variation of 5x5 and some plyometrics added for speed and conditioning
