What is it when you have chest pains that are not anything to do with your heart and are not from lifting and you are not sick?

Sometimes you can have arthritis in your breastbone. I've had that before and it hurts to do almost anything.

Don't mean to be unsympathetic... but go see your Dr. We are not Dr.'s

AND this is steroid forum. Wrong spot for this question. :)

of the things i will risk--that is not of them....prob nothing, but what if it is---need a doc--and if for any other reason it is not a bad idea for gear users to get a baseline ecg done so down the road they have a reference

I did go see my Dr. and like I said there was nothing the matter with my heart or Arterys and I am not sick. I was just asking has anyone on this forum experienced chest pains in their muscular tissue while on their cycle or off. I was not asking for a diagnosis. It is not really painful but when i bend certain I notice in the middle of my chest.

I have had this myself. I just say...why go lookin' for trouble? When I get to thinking about it, I trace it to the fact that I did dips on arm day, and wasn't expecting my chest to be sore anyway.

Yeah, I've had this exact feeling man. I think its just from growing. It happened to me during bulking when my mass/str were going up and then it went away.

I've had this same type of pain lately. If I turn a certain way, they stop. It's a sharp pain in the muscle itself. When you poke and prod you can actually push on the spot that hurts. I can't figure out what's causing it. Possibly a visit to the dr. is in Marshall's future.?

Wrong forum....AGAIN

Gus, please check if you have the correct forums before you post....please, this is getting rediculous

I get headaches, do you think I have something wrong with my brain?

And my ass hurts. Is this a related problem?

Sometimes when I eat Ice Cream too fast, my sack hurts. Is this from injecting Tren into my testicles?

Sorry........... I got a little whack there.:lmao:

chostocondritis, i think thats how its spelled I had been diagnosed with that 2 years back from lifting on bench with sloppy form letting the bar smash down here and there. Its basically inflammed tissue or cartilidge of the sternum. BUT can make u feel like tight left side and arm which is heart attack symptom. But I suggest gettin an ekg done i did to rule out any heart bs

Get blood work done for your cardiac enzymes that will rule out any issues with your heart. If you are currently on a cycle your CPK Levels can be high due to exercising and or from injections

Good idea, here is a bit more info on heart markers as they are not a definitive thing.

Cardiac enzymes, CK and AST are not that great as markers for myocardial infarction. They have their place as they do elevate quickly, but not ideal, very old school.

CK-MB is more specific to heart, but you can't have bloods taken till 6 hours post on-set of chest pain.

I forget the exact time, but these enzymes do not stay elevated for extended periods of time.

Even a negative troponin-T or troponin-I does not rule out heart disease.

while they are the most specific to heart muscle, you have to take your bloods 12-24 hours post chest pain, the levels will stay elevated for about 72 hours.

Heart failure, which I would hope that no one on this board would be experiencing, can be detected by BNP or brain natriuretic peptide.

All of that being said, he did say he has seen his doctor for an ECG, and it was all good.

The most common cause of chest pain is depression, which I found a bit shocking.

It is also possible to pull the muscles between your ribs, the intercostal muscles, and this does give terrible chest pain.

I have done this several times, and I did it again last week with heavy DB pull-overs.

I get something similar occasionally, hits me a little higher. My chiropractor fixes it. You can have a rib that is a little out of place and it can hurt to move or even breath. I've even had the thing go out and give me pain into my left shoulder and arm. First time it happened it worried the hell out of me. Anyway, I had other shit going on in my neck/shoulders/back and went to see my chiropractor, I tell him about the chest pain, he checked me out, found a sore spot near the top of my ribcage I hadn't even noticed, did this standing adjustment and it was like a knot unraveled and I was able to take a painless deep breath.

Musculoskeletal chest pain, costochondritis, reflux and anxiety are all very common noncardiac origins of chest pain in younger individuals.

History is actually the best way to see if your chest pain is cardiac in origin. Questions to ask yourself include: is your chest pain "pressure" in quality? does the pain radiate? is the chest pain exertional? is it relieved by rest? can you reproduce the pain by pushing on your chest (classic of musculoskeletal and costochondritis)? do you have a family history of heart disease or other comorbidities (diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, etc.)? do you experience nausea and diaphoresis with the chest pain?

Also, you only get cardiac enzymes (troponins, ck-mb) if you suspect cardiac ischemia (that is, a "heart attack"). A full history is necessary to figure out whats wrong here, not lab tests yet.
