I was wondering if you guys could help me out . About 2months ago I started getting this dull aching pain in my upper pec on the left side of my chest. I went to the doctor he gave me an EKG a blood test and also a chest X-ray they all came back neg. The pain went away for a few weeks but now its back. Ive been off stuff for six months now and have never had this happen before. Your help would be great.

I have the same problem and would also like to hear some opinions on this, The discomfort is around my left pec and just a little below it on the left outer part. Anyone have any info ?

Could be a mild pull or strian that never healed and
some times it just acts up. Does it hurt when you do chest or just some of the time. A chest x-ray wont show a pulled muscel. Just keep some ice on it when it hurts
20min on 20min off keep doing this for a duration of 4 hrs. Don't worry you'll be fine. Oh yea and if you work out at a place w\ a pool jump in and do some therapy.
hope this helps.

"LIFT HARD STAY HARD" :kaioken:

i was having chest pains deep in the middle of my chest about a year ago and went to the doctor and he said that i was having muscle spazims around my bones.it felt like my chest was crushing from the inside, all he told me was to take a week off of sports and working out ,and it went away but comes and go's from time to time.then recently i got that upper left pec pain and i think it could be the same thing or could be a pull/sprain but nothing serious .i find to just rest it a bit and it's fine.

i was having some pain in between my pecs and was pretty woried. went to the doc and it turned out a had strained part of my pec muscle that meets the bone in between your pecs. took a week off and iced it and it fine now.

This makes me feel alot better, I though it may be a problem with the ol' Ticker, I'll mention it to the doc when I go get my liver ultrasound results just in case but it's good to hear I am not the only one with this problem.

I had the same problem a year ago. Just like loutocool said "pulled muscle". I would like to add that it could be from the back muscle as well as the shoulder muscle.
Mine was from stress. After some good Xanax then Paxil, I was fine. I went to five docs and two gave ekg and one gave the endoscope. The other drew blood for testing. You could say I was a bit paranoid but when it comes to the body it's hard not to be. My symptoms where pretty bad. Couldn't sleep, eat, breath(very well), and had chest pains. This went on for over two months. Until i got the old Xan/pax.

My advice would be go to the doc for any chest pain.
Just to be safe. Don't want anyone to die from something that could of prevented.

i use to strain something in my chest all the time. If I hit a certain weight to fast that I can only do 6-8 reps with to early without warming up, I would pull the same spot all the time, this effects your benching the next few weeks, so it hasn't happen since. I start with a warm-up and don't jump up to high to fast.
