a couple weeks ago i was dipping with a lot heavier weight than i'm accustomed to, and did 3 sets of 10 reps with it. I felt fine after the workout, but i woke up the next day with this weird ache in my chest. The pain pretty much comes from around the dead center of my chest, between my pecs, so maybe the sternum? It used to hurt when i took deep breaths, though not anymore. Now it hurts whenever i try to do even light dips, shoulder press, and even during certain parts of squats and deadlifts. Oddly i don't really feel it at all when i bench. I can deal with the pain, but i'm worried about making it worse and then having to a break from lifting. Should i avoid any lifts that cause the pain, and is there anything else i can do to speed up the healing process?
