chest complications - cycle causing this?

Little Rage

New member
as of saturday i started to have chest pains (left pec only). after a few hours they went away, never had this before so thought nothing of it. Sunday no problems all during the day, but at night the pain came back for about an hour, but hurt a little more. Decided i would go to doctors on Mon. I was busy all today, had no problems with my chest, so decided to lift (had a great lift), came home, had my insulin shot, made a shake, jumped in the shower, and the pains came back.

Went straight to the docs, told him what happened, and there was a great deal of pain when he pressed on and around my left pec. My EKG reading was fine. He said it "MIGHT" be an inflammation in the chest (around the breastbone), which can be caused by an infection or lifting (though i didn't lift sat/sun), but he wasn't sure. So he put me on naproxen twice a day, told me if it doesn't help to come back or it they're not open and it becomes that severe to hit up the ER.

So need your input, my anxiety is through the roof, and the pain has increased since he pushed around on my chest.

Anyone ever here of type of gear doing this? my cycle is listed below.

i know on cycle, my chest tends to feel very "heavy" just cause of the extra weight i am not used to

what are you taking and how much? my first cycle of sust 500 mg a week made the left side of my chest feel heavy, especially when i took a deep breathe, i too was paranoid but when i was off cycle it went away. during my second cycle this past summer i ran the same thing, 500 mg sust a week for 8 weeks and didnt have any pains at all

cycle is in my profile. it has almost been 2 weeks since i started it. I've ran test before and never had a problem, this is however my first time running anadrol. just hoping it is an inflammation caused from an infection b/c i'm loving the results from the drol.

Sounds like Tietze syndrome to me, no big deal, just an inflammation ( not infection) in the costosternal joint, probably due to training stress . It is very common to have a pacient in the ER claiming he is having a heart attack, when it´s actually Tietze. Pressure causing pain it´s definetely not heart derived pain.
Naproxen, local heat and rest will do the trick. Like alçways, if medical recomendation won´t aleviate symptoms or if it worsen during treatment, seek help.
But I´d bet 100 bucks you´ll be fine in a couple of days. But give your pecs some rest.

I agree with Rio 2001, it's either Tietze syndrome (inflammation with swelling) or costochondritis (inflammation). I've experienced it before and it went away after ibuprofen and a week of resting the whole upper body (lat pull downs also aggravated mine).

Bump on the costochondritis, seen ALOT of it in the ER . Pt. comes in with chest pain EKG looks fine. Pt given motrin and the like, pain goes away in a few days to a week. Limit chest movements for a while esp chest pull-overs & flys. Good Luck

My doc knows I am taking and I ask him a similiar question about chest pains. His answer was: If you can minipulate the pain (hurts when you move one way but not another) then it is NOT your heart. It is a pull or a spasm. If it was you heart then you couldn't change the pain and it would be more steady.

called back to the docs and costochondritis was the diagnosis. only problem is he wants me to take at least a week off from lifting...

thanx for all the responses.
