Chest/back split......

Usually I dot chest/tris and back/bis......and I was wondering if any of you gusy work the chest and back in the same day......Would it be too much?
 
I don't - not because it's too much, but because the split you have set already works so well if you are on an accelerated workout cycle (more than one repeat a week) or even on a weekly cycle.
 
I use the chest/back day one legs day 2 and shoulders/arms day 3 workout.

I found that if I did tri's after chest, that I didn't have the strength to properly work the tri's. Same goes for back and bi's.
