Chemists & Vets, I Need Help Transfering Oils!!!

Fellas, how do you transfer oil from a container to a sterile vial without contaminating the product? I plan on buying several sterile vials from Researchkits.com. Please keep it in plain language and in as much detail as possible. This will be my first time doing this and I don't want to screw it up. What other products will I need? All you need is a big syringe (like 30cc´s) and a pretty big needle. Draw out the oil, inject it into the vial and you´re ready to go.

Just make sure you swab the top of the vial before you transfer the oil into it.

The responses above will work if the oil you are transfering is already sterile. If the oil is not already sterile then you will need to draw up the oil in a large syringe; exchange the needle for a sterile 0.2 micron filter and put a new sterile needle on the filter. Swab the rubber stopper of the sterile vial with alcohol and inject the oil through the 0.2 micron filter into the vial.

Spidey, I think I understand. Ok, the Gear comes in 50ml containers. So, I can get a 30CC syringe with a 18G needle and draw out the oil? Then, set up the sterile vials with a .45um Filter on top and put a sterile needle through the Filter. Swab the rubber stopper with alcohol and inject it straight through the Filter into the sterile vial, right? Did I leave something out?

Alright, one more time. After drawing out the Gear with a 30CC syringe and 18G needle, I set up the sealed Sterile Vials. Then, I'm supposed to swab the top of the Vials with Alcohol and place a Sterile .45um Filter on top the Sterile Vials, right? I'm to replace the 18G needle with another Sterile 18G needle and inject straight through the Filter into the Sterile Vials, right? I have to do this for Test Enanthate and Prop. Let me know if this right??? Thanks again!!

If all you are doing is transfering premade sterile gear into smaller vials this is how you do it. Use an alcohol wipe and clean the tops of all of the vials. The syringe is already sterile but you can wipe that too. Draw the gear with the large syringe out of the vial and place it into the smaller vials. You do not need a filter since you are transfering sterile gear. To make it easier you will have to inject air into the big vial since you are removing something from it and creating a vacum and suck air out of the smaller vials since you are filling them and there is no place for the air to go.

Spidey has stated before that a .45 will not catch staph. Has to be a .2. It must be a real bitch to pull oil through it though, even if the oil is heated.
