Does proviron decrease gains while taking anabolic steriods dur to its dual blocking schemes in that it prevents the amorization of steriods as well as competes with estrogen to block receptors?

If I recall and it was a while back both proviron and nolvadex do reduce muscle gains while on steriods? Somebody is saying I am wrong but I recall not being wrong.

Nolvadex decreases IGF-1 production from my understanding.

as far as proviron - not sure but your theory would seem to be correct.

I agree with the Nolvadex hindering gains by owering IGF-1 levels but Proviron competes with SHBG. Proviron actually has a greater affinity for SHBG then Test. This in turn allows more free test available in the bloodstream. I do not think it would hinder gains.

I think with proviron as an issue we're talking about the role of estrogen in growth are we not?
