Were all eating at Ruth's Chris in Jacksonville Saturday night. It was some good shit.
Berman is not as fat as he looks on TV, and Irvin is pretty small.
Chef Wide is a cool guy - flew in Saturday afternoon. Sassy was already here on Friday, so the three of us went out for a large beer or two, then a 10PM reservation at Ruth's Chris.
You gotta eat.
ChefWide, as his name indicates, knows a few things about food prep, and set us up for some good hangovers when he ordered a single barrel bourbon. I think they gave us scotch, though. Whatever it was, Sassy didn't drink any, so Chef and I split it.
There was also a bottle of wine on the table (Syrah? not sure), and then Chef took the whole dinner to a new level when he pointed out the shortcomings of the creme brulee.
I rather liked it. lol.
After that we went out to a local watering hole for a few beers until they closed, which in the Super City of Jacksonville is 2AM. Early. Bitches. Sassy absolutely insisted we listen to the Les Miserables CD on the drive home. Thankfully it was only about 1/2 mile of backroads.
Everyone crashed at the house and then Sunday we sort of fought hangovers (beer, wine, scotch...no surprise) and checked out some of the Super City.
There might be pics, not sure, but it was a fun time with two really cool people from Elite.
